How to Treat Ants in Your Garden
If you do not wish to use pesticides to eliminate ants in your garden, then there is a way to do that. Obviously, using a pesticide is going to be a quick and easy solution, but most people that have gardens do it because they want a pesticide free yield from that garden. Assuming that is the case with you, this is the pesticide-free solution. If that is not the case, then go to any of Guy's videos and ask for the pesticide solution for ants in your garden
A non-pesticide solution to eliminating ants is going to be a bit slower than a pesticide solution, and it is not a sure thing, but I think it is worth a try. This involves installing bait stations around your garden. Simply push one of the bait stations into the ground everywhere you are seeing activity. Virtually none of the bait is going to get into the plants. After installing the stations, you need to put a liquid bait on one side of the station and a granular bait on the other side of the station. I will give you links to the stations and the baits. Check the stations daily for activity and add bait as needed. If the ants are not taking the bait, then this is not going to work. However, if they do take the bait, then just keep adding bait until you are no longer seeing activity. Keep in mind that this may be a slow process. Sometimes it can work in a matter of days, but sometimes it can take a couple of weeks. Ants do not eat that much, and the liquid bait will dry out quickly, so do not put too much liquid bait in the station. They like their bait fresh, so a little is more in this case. You just need a dime size drop. Just make sure they don't run out of it. You can use about a teaspoon of the dry bait.
