How to Treat Pantry Pests
For any pantry pest, such as moths, flour beetles, drugstore beetles, and that sort of thing, it is best to throw away all the packaged food. If they are in one bag, then they can spread to others as well.
Remove everything from the pantry and vacuum everything really well, especially around areas where the shelves meet the sides of the pantry walls. If your shelves are adjustable, then clean out the holes with a toothpick and vacuum them out. Throw away the vacuum bag immediately outside. If you have a bagless vacuum, empty it outside and wash it out before going back inside.
Wash the shelves and walls with plain water. Do not use bleach or any harsh cleaning products because this may repel the pests and prevent them from contacting the pesticide. Just use a sponge and wipe dry.
Now spray D-Fense NXT along all places where shelves meet the walls and in any holes or cracks and crevices. Wipe off the excess with a rag or paper towels.
You can now restock your pantry.
Finally, place just one pantry pest trap in the pantry. If you use more than one, the moths or beetles may get confused and not go in the traps. So, less is more in this case.
